Wescom Resources Group (WRG), a provider of technology solutions for credit unions, announced today its operating results for 2009. Total annual income grew by 4% over 2008 – the sixth consecutive year of income growth and the highest year on record for the CUSO.
During the year, WRG signed on seven new clients to its MemberEdgeTM Online Banking platform, bringing to 53 the total of credit unions using WRG for their online banking. WRG also added several new Bill Pay services clients. Overall Bill Pay processing volume for the year grew by over 43% over 2008.
Other significant achievements in 2009 included:
· WRG enhanced the MemberEdge platform to natively support mobile banking, and signed its first group of clients to the service.
· WRG expanded its award-winning Secure Messaging product to handle electronic Notices, thereby providing credit unions with significant new cost-savings and member convenience.
· WRG enhanced the MemberEdge platform to support multi-account views and tiered access and privileges within an account.
· WRG’s Programming & Consulting Services team completed six merger consulting products for credit unions needing to consolidate member information into their core system.
