WRG Now Serving 25 Credit Unions Nationwide and Processing Nearly 300,000 ATM Deposits Per Month

As a result, Unitus Community, located in Portland, Ore., will utilize this online technology for potential members to easily apply when opening an account from the credit union’s website.

According to Coates, the credit union’s previous Internet membership application product would send an email with the potential member’s information to its member correspondence email box. Then a member service representative (MSR) would re-enter all the data into Symitar and process the application. This manual process was very labor intensive.
Unitus Community’s new Internet Membership Application solution from WRG works by allowing potential members to easily apply to open an account right from its website (www.unitusccu.com) and automatically transferring their information into Symitar’s Episys™ system. Then the application and ChexSystem™ report remain in a processing queue until the credit union has received the signed application and funds. When the credit union receives the funds and signed application, an MSR simply clicks on one button to activate the account.
In addition to making the process of opening an account easier for potential members and MSRs, WRG’s Internet Membership Application will empower the credit union’s business development officers to submit an application while in the field. Along with a wireless Internet access, laptop PC and a printer, they can actually submit the application, print it out, and capture the member’s signature while providing the member with their account number.
