Wescom Resources Group's Online Technology Solutions Enable 66 Federal Credit Union to Support Its Worldwide Membership

WRG's Products and Personalized Services Allow 66 Federal Credit Union to Compete with Financial Institutions, Increase Retention and Attract New Members

Through Wescom Resources Group (WRG), a leader in innovative technology solutions for the financial industry, 66 Federal Credit Union has launched a suite of online applications that will enable the credit union to better serve its members who are located throughout the world. The new online features include WRG's internet banking program, new member and loan applications, automated lending system, and account alerts. The products were seamlessly launched in conjunction with the credit union's data conversion to the Symitar system.

WRG's team, including senior staff, was onsite during the conversion at 66 Federal Credit Union's Bartlesville location and at three satellite branches to provide support for the WRG software applications. In addition, the WRG team also provided assistance to the credit union on its conversion to the Symitar system. WRG's significant Symitar experience, through its relationship with Wescom Credit Union, enabled the success of the credit union's smooth data conversion.

“Often our members' jobs take them from one country to another,” said Marty O'Connell, vice president of information technology for Bartlesville, Okla.-based 66 Federal Credit Union. “We can't move our credit union with them, but through WRG's services our members will be able to manage their accounts anywhere in the world. That's the value and convenience they deserve.”

In addition to helping its global membership, these new services will make the $368 million, 54,000 member credit union more competitive with other financial institutions. O'Connell said that other institutions in their service area may not provide this range of electronic services, which will prompt 66 Federal Credit Union's members to stay with the credit union as well as give it the ability to attract new members.
