Product Allows Credit Union Staff to Mirror Member Navigation Online; New Feature Part of WRG’s Home Banking Solution
Wescom Resources Group (WRG) has developed a unique “shadowing” tool within its home banking solution that enables staff to mirror member navigation online. Credit union employees are now able to walk members through such online processes as opening a CD, applying for a loan, and creating another account, all in real-time. As a result, credit unions can now greatly enhance their level of service with this new interactive feature.
For security purposes, the credit union can have access to a read-only version where the employee can see the same thing as the member in the program and provide advice without the ability to make active changes. The credit union can also grant full access where there is interactivity on both ends: member and employee. In this case, each employee's onscreen action is tracked and logged to eliminate any possibility of wrongdoing.
“Not only is this tool great for helping members, it’s excellent for credit union product promotions,” says John Best, director of technology for WRG. “Overall, this is a feature that can greatly enhance any credit union’s member services. Members don’t have to come into the branch for help anymore.”
